The university campus is considered a location for which the students must develop feelings of place identification. Place identity is a part of self-identity. Through interaction with the site, people consider themselves belonging to the place, build and develop their roles in social interaction base on places. The research is to explore the relationship among place identity, school evaluation and academic self-concept, to distinguish three dimensions of place identity:attachment/self-extension, environment fit and place-self congruity. This research includes three parts:the first part is preparation of school evaluation questionnaire and place identity questionnaire. Exploratory factor analysis is to determine the reliability and validity of the two questionnaires. The second part is to investigate the characteristics of school evaluation, place identity and academic self-concept on the demographic variables. The third part is to explore the relationship among place identity, school evaluation and academic self-concept, the mediated effect of school evaluation. The results show that school evaluation questionnaire and place identity questionnaire have good reliability and validity. They can be used as measurement tools on this research. There are significant differences in grade. Academic self-concept proved to be partially explained by the quality of students’ identification with their school. The status of the level of school evaluation as a mediator variable was also confirmed.
