With the development of society, enterprise has been the main power to drive China’s economy and society development. The progress and the construction of spirit for enterpriser are more and more urgent in the increasingly competitive market economy. The enterpriser spirit is the value orientation, the moral values, the way of thinking and the cultural literacy during the process of establishment, build, operation and management, and it is a culture, soul, Intangible production capital and cultural capital. The construction and development of enterprise spirit could not exist independent without economy, politics and culture. As one of the most important culture in the traditional Chinese culture, Confucianism has great influence on Chinese’s conception, thought, action and mentality, and it has become a dominant force in shaping national character as long as an important capital of modern enterprise and enterpriser. If China wants to construct its peculiar enterpriser spirit, it has to build an economic and ethical system of Chinese characteristics. This thesis is based on cultural capital, and use Confucianism as its cultural background and theoretical origin, also use field theory and structuration theory to explain the framework. The purpose of this thesis is find the possibility and approach of the enterpriser spirit with Chinese characteristics through the combination of Confucianism and enterpriser spirit.Through the case study and unstructured interviews, we do the research on the background of enterprise and enterpriser, This thesis uses economic sociology as the guiding theory, attempts from the Confucian traditional culture perspective, and applies corresponding methods in social research on the enterpriser spirit analysis and research. We study how the Confucianism take influence on the construction of enterpriser spirit, enterprise culture, and enterprise development through an enterpriser’s personal value, moral behavior, and moral spirit. This thesis initiates the thinking of bringing up enterpriser spirit with Chinese characteristics through how to combine Chinese traditional culture with enterpriser spirit and construct an outstanding enterpriser with Chinese characteristics as model.This thesis consists of seven parts:The first part:The Confucianism is taking influence on guiding the enterpriser to construct economy ethics system and enterpriser spirit with Chinese characteristics. Nowadays, with the globalization and market economy advance, more and more people begin to discuss if Confucianism could really promote the development of modern enterprise. What is the effect of Confucianism in the construction of enterpriser spirit? What is the conflict between both? Is there any possibility of combination, and how? These questions will be discussed in this thesis, and it would bring out the study angle, method and innovation.The second part:The summary of the study of enterpriser, enterpriser spirit and Confucianism and their relation.The third part:The background introduction of enterprise A, including its history, industry, enterpriser X’s experience. The background introduction of the heritor’s family business and it is including the history, the brief introduction and the history of the founder. Thought narrative, knowing A’s education background, character and career, how the Confucianism take influence on the enterpriser spirit, the value, the moral action and moral spirit. This thesis analyzes the construction and influence of X’s enterpriser spirit and A’s enterprise culture three aspects.The fourth part:When analyzing enterprise A, trying to find the relation of Confucianism, the construction of enterprise spirit and culture. During the study of A’s enterprise culture, the Confucianism found each aspect such as management method, value and purpose. Kindness, harmony and honest are the core spirit of enterpriser X. The enterpriser spirit with Chinese traditional culture has great influence on the construction of enterprise spirit. And this part discusses the employing concept of Confucianism from the angle of human resource management, which would lead enterpriser managing and training employee with the people-oriented concept. The fifth part:Discussing the negative effect of Chinese traditional method on the construction of modern enterpriser spirit through analyzing enterprise A and its owner X’s enterpriser spirit. And some of the negative effects are conservatism, the lack of innovation and level autocratic, which are bad for the development of personnel and forming the sense of competition. All these are the inadequacies of Chinese enterpriser, which proves Confucianism has great influence on the construction of enterpriser spirit from another angle.The sixth part:Analyzing the influence of Confucianism on the formation of X’s enterpriser spirit from the combination and conflict, and summarizing the elements of thought and the construction of enterpriser spirit, the new approach of constructing the enterpriser spirit whit Chinese characteristics and developing Chinese enterprises form the aspect of society, enterprise and individual, as well as promoting the importance of developing the enterpriser spirit whit Chinese characteristics.The last part:Summary and reflection.
