Objects: Aggressive behavior and sexual stimulation flooded in the mediaenvironment, which had aroused deep anxiety and concern of citizens and socialworkers, also aroused interest in the study of the psychology researchers. On the basisof the previous study, this study explored the attention bias characteristics from highand low aggressive male university students, using the stimulus in an innovative way. Methods: Three texts (visual dot probe Task, recognition and preferred texts),were used in this study, and the stimuli were real expressions including happyemotions and sexual depiction (low arousal sexual stimulus and high sexual stimulus).Date collected from27high aggressive subjects and27low aggressive subjects tocompare the attention bias deviations to different sexual expressions by RepeatedMeasurement ANOVA.Results:(1) In visual dot probe task, the high aggressive group need more timeto complete the task than the low aggressive group. It showed that the reaction time todetect stimuli of high arousal sexual expression under the identical side was longerthan under the opposite side in the high aggressive group, and attention bias to highsexual arousal stimulus was shown. Besides high sexual arousal stimulus, attentionbias to low sexual arousal stimulus was shown in the low aggressive group.(2)Inrecognition text, the deviation of correct rate to the three expressions was notsignificant between two groups. Two groups are subject to the impact of high sexualarousal stimuli most.(3)In preferred text, two groups are subject to the impact ofhappy emotion stimuli most. The high aggressive group preferred the high sexualarousal stimuli significantly more than the low aggressive group did. The highaggressive group preferred the low sexual arousal stimuli significantly more thanhappy emotion expressions, while the low aggressive group preferred happy emotionexpressions significantly more than both low sexual arousal stimuli and high sexualarousal stimuli. Conclusions: Attention bias to sexual arousal stimulus was shown in the high andlow aggressive male university students. Attention bias to high sexual arousalstimulus was shown in the high aggressive group. Attention bias to both high and low sexual arousal stimuli was shown in the low aggressive group.
