In recent years, the development of new Chinese emigrant novels in Canadahave made fruitful achievement, which represents a further maturation of theCanadian-Chinese literature. According to the study of new Chinese emigrantnovels in Canada, we think that "the image of the minorities" is a key pointamong many writers’ writings, They are not only enriched the Literature butalso reflected on the disadvantages of Chinese through shaping the image ofother minorities. They show the hardship of Chinese immigrants integratinginto local life by depicting the suffering of other minorities, which alsorevealed the relentless pursuit of the emigrant self-cultural identity. Manyemigrant writers depict romantic relationship with other minority groups intheir writings, which means they have already started to think aboutdifferent cultures. We do research on novels of Zhang Ling, Chen He&Xiaoyan and analysisthe typical minority characters such as Indian Japanese&Iban. Finally wefound out that those writers wrote themselves through other minorities.Canadian Chinese share a same fate with them. Those writings are importantparts of the overseas Chinese culture. In our study, we analysis the imageof the minorities in their novels to feel their attitude toward the minoritiesand dig out the deep implication.
