The aim of this paper is to write a report on the author’s consecutiveinterpreting practice and analyze problems the author met in the process ofinterpreting, especially problems of post-listening forgetting and information loss.When compare the source language and the receptor language, we can find thatinformation accuracy and integrity are significant factors to a successful interpreting.New interpreters should participate in more interpreting activities to make better useof interpreting skills which can help them memorize more accurately and guaranteethe integrity of interpreting. This paper is to give practical advice through an analysisof the author’s own interpreting practice so that interpreters could improve thequality of their interpreting and the ability of expression.
