The Artistry In The Novels Of Borges

Borges is a great writer in Argentina，whose creation involves multiple areas,including novels, poetry, prose and even literary theories. This thesis is focused onthe creation of novels. It will analysis and discuss novel art from four aspects, whichare intertextuality writing, narrative mode of meta fiction, labyrinth narration andtime and space form of novel.The first chapter mainly investigate and analysis “intertextuality” application inBorges’s novel from two aspects of usage of intertextuality and intertextual text. Thesecond chapter is from author and narrative behavior exposure, postscript,multi-level, review of narrative to analysis the narrative mode in Borges’s novel.Labyrinth narration’s methods and the image of labyrinth narration were introducedand analysised to Borges’ labyrinth narration. In third chapter. The key important inthe last chapter is the form of time and space, and it reveals the association withlabyrinth narration.In this dissertation, although take Borges’s novels as the main object of study, inthe course of study also constantly reference, involves the creation of prose, novels,poetry, prose and drama of one writer. In a certain sense, it is a sense of the whole, soit is with the property of mutual reference and explanation.
