Guo Zi-zhang(1543～1618), was the person who was born in Taihe of JiangxiProvince and was a minister of Military."Yuzhang poets and Poetry"was written byGuo Zi-zhang on the time of the governor of Guizhou Office, it discussed the poetsand the poetry of Jiangxi province and had the guide distinctive in poetry history.This paper analyses three aspects of Guo Zi-zhang’s Yuzhang Poets and Poetry. Firstof all, the creation background of this book. Secondly, the contents and value of thebook. Lastly, the aesthetic thought of Guo Zi-zhang. Through these three majorresearch content, we can understand the regional characteristics, the literaticharacteristics and the aesthetic characteristics of Jiangxi province and the aestheticthought of Guo Zi-zhang. In addition, as the material of poetry,"Yuzhang Poets andPoetry" has historical value, plays an important role in the later study on history andculture of Jiangxi area.
