As Zhang Tianyi was called a “new one” in the field of literature and attractingthe readers by a special writing style, he created a new children’s literature writingstyle which broke through the traditional and the old ones. After Ye Shengtao andBing Xin and others made great contribution to the children’s literature, Zhang Tianyiwrote many different kind of children’s literature books to create a fantastic and fullof philosophy thoughts literature world to support the children in the war. Since thethirties of last century, he successively released the well known long fairy tales likeThe Bid Lin and Little Lin, King Tutu, The Golden Duck Empire and many children’snovels and fables, which made great contribute to the Left Wing children’s literature.Although he had several roles after the founding of New China, he still insisted onkeeping a child’s mind. He wrote The Story of Luo Yingwen, The Secret of the MagicGourd and many other works. His books are still published in many languages andhave been adapted into movies and cartoons. And his works had vigor and vitality bythese new media’s spreading. There are three main parts in this paper. It explain thereason Zhang Tianyi turned to write children’s literature and the conflict of hischildren’s literature creating in fifties by integrating his life experience and creativerheological, analyzing his works, mentality and the changes of background and theChinese children’s view.In the introduction part, it gives a review to the research status of Zhang Tianyi’children’s literature, then it shows the topic reasons, values and the key and difficultparts in this paper.In chapter one, it contains Zhang Tianyi’s creative rheological and the reasonwhy he turned to children’s literature writing in the thirties. In chapter two, there arethree parts for expound the change and conflict of Zhang Tianyi’s creation in thefifties：firstly, it analyzes the change of his children’s literature works by commentinghis works; secondly, it talks about his mind’s contradictions and struggles afterexperiencing the changing times; thirdly, it analyzes his artistic pursuit in his doubleidentity by using Freud’s personality theory. In chapter three, there four parts mainly to search the features and significance of his innocence world which built in a specialchildren’s perspective and mind.In the end of this paper, it gives a whole view to Zhang Tianyi’s children’sliterature creation. At the same time, it emphasizes the importance of Zhang Tianyi inChinese children’s literature, and it defines his unique creation and the value of hischildren’s literature works.
