The Peotry Study Of Ai Qing From The Perspective Of Symbolism

Symbolism is one of the most extensive art genres in the20th centurywestern literary theory,which is the end of the classical literature and the start of themodern. Symbolism,as a poetry genre,was originated from French in the mid of19thcentury,with Baudelaire as a pioneer of the French Symbolism, thereafter a largenumber of young poets,such as Verlaine, Rimbaud, and Mallarme gathered under thebanner of symbolism,promoting the development of poetry.The ImpressionistPainting,at the same time,also claim to promote the development of the westernmodernism. In the late-mid19th century, the literature trend of Symbolism began tospread French to the United Kingdom, Ireland,Russia, Belgium, Austria and othercountries, becoming an international trend of poetics. At that time, the developingChinese new poetry was inevitably influenced by the literary trends,especially theFrench poetry of Symbolism. In this paper, the introduction part focuses on theresearch of Ai Qing poetry significance of symbolism.The first chapter,starting withthe spread of Symbolism in China,mainly researches on the influence anddevelopment of Symbolism in China.According to three typical poets and theorists ofChinese poetry of symbolism, readers can have an outline of the development ofChinese modern symbolism poetry. The second chapter mainly analyzes poetries of AiQing by the theory of painting and symbolism.From the analysis of the poetries of AiQing,we can observe that Ai Qing is initiative to learn and accept the influence ofsymbolism and Impressionist paintings.The third chapter expounds the artistic featuresof Ai Qing poetry from the color images, the relationship between poetry and paintingand the aesthetic pursuit. This paper analyses the symbolic elements of Ai Qing’spoetry, as well as the relationship between poetry and painting,the color images,theChinese painting skill,literary sketch and the prose poetry pursuit.It’s proved that AiQing has been influeced by the symbolism.The paper attempts to make contribution tothe academic study of Ai Qing through the research on the relationship betweensymbolism and the poetry of Ai Qing.
