During the Anti-Japanese War well-known cultural scholars from all of the countrywere brought together in Chongqing. The distinctive calligraphy features formed therewere unique as a sort of “scholarly calligraphy,” the activities and research that tookplace hold a special place as a referential resource for the development of contemporarycalligraphy.
