Application Of Ming And Qing Dynasty’s Belle Paintings’ Modeling Inappraising

Ancient Chinese Belle paintings have different features during different period, whichdirectly shows the typical aesthetic appreciation of times, from which we coulddiscover the trends of esthetic.These trends could be researched, learned and used. We could try to feel the figures’heart, their spirits and rhythms which created by the artists, through the belles’ faces,dresses, hair styles and colors and this is why Belle painters are unique. It was thisfeature that made Belle paintings so classical and influential, and provided substantialclues to us for appraising important Belle paintings scientifically and systematically.This thesis made the styles of Belle paintings from Ming and Qing dynasties clear andpaid special attentions on application and appraising. Took three Belle paintings fromMing dynasty for example and discussed how styling played an important role inappraising Belle paintings from Ming and Qing dynasties.
