Linqing Framed-Drum is a gongs folk music in Linqing. It is an ensemble form of thepure percussion with its playing musical instruments including drums, point gongs andlarge gongs. Because of its rich and variable drumbeats, resonant and forceful sound,imposing and magnificent momentum, Linqing Framed-Drum became a popular art formwhich is widely used in festival celebration, jan performances, big races and otheractivities. Nowadays, Linqing Framed-Drum has became one of the provincial intangiblecultural heritages, and occupies an important position in the national folk music field withthe very high research value.The article is divided into five parts to study Linqing Framed-Drum:The first chapter，is the origin and development of Linqing Framed-Drum. In thebeginning, it makes a brief summary on the Canal culture background of LinqingFramed-Drum, and sorts out the origin and development of Linqing Framed-Drum.The second chapter, is a matter of Linqing Framed-Drum compositional material.Combining with the art practice and fieldwork of Linqing Framed-Drum, to introduce theclassification of musical instruments, establishment of band, playing skills, performingforms and the nation of Framed-Drum, then makes people have a comprehensiveunderstanding on the basic features of this kind of drum and personality traits.In the third chapter, analyzing Linqing Framed-Drum on the drums melody structure,rhythm and music developing techniques, which has some reference value to similar styleof study.The fourth chapter is about the artistic characteristics and culture interpretation ofLinqing Framed-Drum. From the perspective of ethnomusicology, sum up its distinctiveartistic characteristics. Combining with the theory of folklore, cultural anthropology,sociology and aesthetics, to mine the rich folk custom and cultural connotation, then makean in-depth research laid in aesthetic level.The fifth chapter, tells the inheritance of Linqig Framed-Drum, and the thought of own points. Based on the present situation of Linqing Framed-Drum inheritance, the authormakes an analysis and summary on inheritance mode and characteristics of theFramed-Drum, then combines with the local actual situation to think about somesuggestions on the inheritance of Linqig Framed-Drum.
