Study On Poetics Ideas Of Song Dazun In Ming Xiang Shi Lun

Poetry writings in the Qing Dynasty were splendid. Ming Xiang Shi Lun writtenby Song Dazun is one masterpiece which is not only simple but also meaningful.Ming Xiang Shi Lun stands for Song Dazun’s conclusion of his theory on his poetrywriting and thinking. And it also reflects the author’s good taste and judgment,which reflects his poetic thought. The core thought of Song Dazun includesemphasis on Dao, classics, erudition, advocating the tradition of “poetry expressingideals” and emphasizing the emotional sincerity.“Poetry of Empathy” is advocated.Based on the existing research results, Song Dazun’s poetics in Ming Xiang Shi Lunis analyzed and sorted further in the paper. This paper summarizes the methodologyand analyzes Ming Xiang Shi Lun in three aspects of creating method, writers andworks, in order to have more specific understanding and exploring of Song Dazun’sMing Xiang Shi Lun. This paper includes5parts below as follows:First, briefly introduce the meaning of this research theme and the currentsituation of research.Second, it relates to the analysis of poems’ creation theory of Song Dazun. Heemphasized that learning poetry should uphold the tradition of worshiping the SixClassics and advocating retro, and especially absorb the essence from the HanDynasty poetry to nourish poetry, to accomplish "the form fits the spirit "; But hewas against simulating the ancient poem without judgments, advocating their ownreal feelings and writing; Meanwhile, he not only advocated the lyric poetry but alsopaid attention to the placid principle.Third, he had strict requirements on the poet’s personality, considering thatpersonality and poetry are closely related; Poetry’s style is close to Li Bai, bold andelegant,"magnificent" meanings come into being between the lines, it’s alsoinfluenced by the Taoism.Fourth, focus on Song. Dazun’s opinions on noumenon of poetry. Song paidplenty attentions to the teaching function of poetry and continued Chinese traditionof teaching concepts. In Ming Xiang Shi Lun, Song Dazun has comments on the Han,Jin, Song, Qi, Liang, Chen and Sui Dynasty poetry, which reflects his thought onretro and literary concepts.Fifth, conclude this thesis.
