Teaching Chinese characters to international students with primary Chinese levelis difficult for most teachers. According to some reading and teaching experience, theauthor finds radical component of Chinese is useful in teaching Chinesecharacters.Thus, the author gives some suggestion on teaching Chinese characters bytaking advantages of radical component of Chinese characters based on the latestHSK syllabus.
