Vocal music is an art of producing sounds from human throat. Vocal music uses the vocal organs of human body as instrument. When we are singing we should adjust the sound according to our state of mind. So psychological factors plays a decisive role in vocal music learning and singing.The author, with the knowledge of vocal music and experience in learning, studies the psychological influence on singers.This paper focus on four aspects.1. The significance of psychological factors to the learning of vocal music and singing performance.2. The psychological analysis in vocal music learning.3. The psychological analysis in singing performance.4. How to develop singing psychology. Then this paper explores the ways of dealing with psychological factors in vocal music learning and singing performance.This paper brings forth some psychological influences in learning vocal music, such as emotion, attention, memorization, thinking, etc. and analyzes them respectively. Thenauthor puts these theories into singing performance, aiming to solve the problem of mental tension so that the healthy state of mind occur in both daily practice andperformance on stage as well.
