As a traditional ancient village that has six hundred years history, Zhangguying has its unique geographical features in terms of spatial culture."Divine Space" as a kind of immaterial special culture in settlement landscape, based on folk faith of the locals, has deeply affected the spiritual perception and needs of people by elaborating and converting material space. Therefore, this paper will deeply analyze connections between the generation of the "Divine Space" and space and rite based on the perspective of folklore, furthermore switching the research from material perspective to the immaterial perspective to declare the existence of the "Divine Space" has special meaning to the locals’ inner demand and worship.To process filed work in the Zhangguying village, this paper is mainly relying on mapping, field surveys and interviews. By analyzing its construction site, spatial pattern, interior decoration, and related folk customs and rituals, summarize the style and feature of the "Divine Space"of Zhangguying village, in aims of to fully understand structure and condition of the "divine space" under different faiths and backgrounds. What is more, focusing on investigates the creation and attention of locals to the "Divine Space" under nature worship, god worship and ancestor worship, and how it can be fed back into the specific spatial form. In addition, by combining rituals of nature gods, ancestral gods and ordinary house gods, analyze the sanctification process of the space realm, and how people illustrate their inner needs and expects in the subjectively imagined "Divine Space", moreover obtain satisfaction and comfort from it.By the research of Zhangguying settlement landscape of "divine space", tune the perspective of research to spiritual plane, which is relatively less of research in the area of Zhangguyin, so as to characterize the field of people’s faith and spiritual aspirations. Even if the "divine space" is illusory, it is the people’s spiritual support, should be more attention and exploration.
