The Miao nationality in Xiangxi is an ancient ethnic group which has own language but without written characters. For the thousands years, they created a special Miao Folk culture with a unique style, graceful tone, and has a long history. This Miao Folk culture can be seen as a treasure of Xiangxi Miao nationality since it is a reflection of residents’life style and habits, a expression of Miao people’s thoughts and feelings. However, with the accelerated process of modernization, the mainstream music culture of modern society which is widely recognized and has an huge impact on the Miao Folk. Leading to a serious threat to the living environment of the Miao Folk which could become extinct and lost in danger.Therefore I take Jishou City for example, and analyzing cases of school education, family education even community education to have some thinking on the Miao Folk educational heritage. Trying to find and summarize the problems of the cultural heritage in education, solutions will have to propose in this study. I hope it could retain the forthcoming lost national music art and promote the development of Xiangxi Miao Folk culture, as also hope it will not only benefit the protection of Miao Folk culture and heritage, but also to the preservation and development of other minorities’ musical culture who are facing the same situation.Articles include topics preamble reason, significance, research review, research ideas, research methods. The first chapter of the Miao culture overview of the literature review, an overview of the historical background and culture of this research. The second chapter focuses on the cultural heritage of the status quo in Xiangxi Miao songs school education, family education, community education, through the analysis of the results of the Survey to identify Miao songs and cultural heritage education in the problems. The third chapter is Miao Song analyze cultural issues and the reasons for the three educational tradition exists in the way, and lay the foundation for the proposed Miao Song cultural heritage education strategies. The fourth chapter is Miao Song Countermeasures cultural and educational heritage, the author of three different ways made relatively heritage education proposals. The conclusion of this article were summarized, noting school education, family education, community education must assume the responsibility of Xiahgxi Miao songs and cultural heritage, and culture of Miao songs must be rooted in schools, families, the community of the three soil education system the.
