Self-observation In The Inertia:Studies On Contemporary Poetics In21st Century

The contemporary poetics in21st century appears a phenomenon of lacking of power. Many sensitive critics have already realized its inner crisis.In this paper we study the crisis of the contemporary poetics, including the representations, reasons and the possibility of solution of the crisis. On the research methods and train of thought, we take a method of grasping the key points and observing phenomena from a scattered perspective. By analyzing the specific phenomenon and articles of the contemporary poetics, we try to find all the messages of the crisis and the restrictions on the development of the contemporary poetics.In the paper we take four parts to study the comtemporary poetics. Chapter1:Propose the problem:we get a description of the crisis from intuitive feelings,and find the influence of the historical inertia from the analysis of the poetics controversy in the1990s. Chapter2:Develop the problem:we study two central issue of the contemporary poetics, including the dynamic poetics in the context of the new media and the debate on the relationship between the Chinese new poetry and the ethics. Chapter3:Deepen the problem:we evaluate and analyse the deep reason of the crisis, including the critique of the "superficial criticism" and the study on the lose of the publicity of the Chinese new poetry. Chapter4:The possibility of solution:from two typical articles we give two new paradigms of studing the contemporary poetics including the introduction of political dimension to the skill of poetry writing and the introduction of knowledge of other subjects to break through the dilemma of the comtemporary poetics.We find that the Chinese new poetry is losing the reflective associations with the external gradually because of the inertia of "skill" poetics. Simultaneously, the superficial criticism deepens the crisis. So we give new paradigms of studing the contemporary poetics to break through the dilemma.
