Oral course as one of the basic courses in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, it aims to develop the ability that learners use Mandarin Chinese communicate decently, occupies an extremely important position in teaching practice. It provides an important way to acquire the oral communicative competence for learners. In this paper, as an example of multi-country learners in the classroom, the writer not only obtains appropriate survey results and feedback from interviews by analyzing and comparing the survey data, but also finds out issues of teaching Elementary Spoken Chinese in the classroom. According to the teaching issues, the writer offers targeted, workable and effective teaching strategies, which are selecting topic materials for improving the ratio of speaking; presenting knowledge in simple way through stimuli of visual or auditory; using methods of enhanced memory to help students’oral expression; using "1+1" Oral teaching model to enhance learning effect and improve teaching efficiency; teachers should construct the circumstances of spoken Chinese to improve teaching efficiency; during oral teaching, cultural factors should be infiltrated into appropriately; teachers should use a good method to teach multi-country students in accordance with their aptitude. Therefore, teachers should combine the characteristics of learners, hobbies, real life, study demands, and use the targeted, feasibility and effectively specific teaching strategies to stimulate learners’ enthusiasm and initiative of listening speaking and to cultivate learners speaking of interest and oral communication ability of learners and to improve teaching efficiency of oral course and enhance teaching effectiveness.
