In today’s society, most of the material needs of life of people can be met, after the material needs are met, people are increasingly concerned about the positive psychological feelings, and subjective well-being is an important standard of a person’s quality of life. Domestic and foreign researchers have made a lot of research. The psychological resilience, social support, coping joint research on several factors SWB has basically no, but on the development of lifelong study of several factors on the subjective well-being is very few.In this study,260university students and294elderly people in Shanghai were tested, Using Memorial University of Newfoundland Scale, of Happiness (MUNSH), Chinese version of Psychological resilience Scale (CD-RISC), Coping Style Questionnaire (CRQ) and Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS) as a research tool to explore the differences between college students and the elderly status of subjective well-being as well as influencing factors and predictive models. The results were as follows:1. The SWB of elderly subjective were affected by demographic variables, including gender, income, physical condition and the frequency of physical exercise had a significant effect on the SWB of elderly subjective. Demographic factors have no effect on the SWB of college students.2. The SWB of the elderly were significantly higher than that of college students. Among the elderly negative emotions and negative experiences were significantly less than that of college students, and positive experience were significantly more than that of college students.3. The SWB of both college students and the elderly are significantly related with psychological resilience, social support and coping style. Which psychological resilience, positive coping style and social support were significantly positive correlative with SWB, while negative coping style and SWB was significantly negatively correlated. 4. College students and the elderly have different SWB regression model. Social support is a predictor of SWB of the elderly, but not predictors of the college students. In the psychological resilience, and tenacity are predictors of SWB of the elderly, optimism is the predictor of SWB of college students.
