There is no denying that career adaptability counts indispensably in the college students' forthcoming career option development and promising vocation success,accordingly it is imperative to set about exploring the college students' career adaptability conditions and its significant influencing factors,which are certain to ardently promote the acquaintance of college students' vocational psychological development properties and provide more empirical and opportune suggestions for the target of boosting the college students' career adaptability.A mediated moderation model dedicated to illuminating the relationship between social support and career adaptability accompanying underlying mechanisms from a novel perspective was devised,prioritizing the effect of social support on career adaptability,the potential mediation of psychological capital and moderation of social comparison orientation.By relatively mature scales comprising Social Support Scale,Career Adaptability Scale,Psychological Capital Scale and Social Comparison Orientation Scale,valid samples were successfully collected ultimately.Results manifested that social support exerted significantly positive effect on college students' career adaptability;and that social comparison orientation negatively moderated the associations between social support and career adaptability which could be exemplified by the fact that social support was significantly associated with career adaptability in low social comparison orientation;and that relationship between social support and psychological capital was significantly moderated by social comparison orientation.Specifically,social support was more strongly associated with psychological capital in low social comparison orientation than in high social comparison orientation.Additionally,the moderating effects of college students' social comparison orientation on the relation between social support and college students' career adaptability were mediated by college students' psychological capital.The study have confirmed empirically the mediated moderator model and gave an illustration of interior effects of social support on career adaptability,which absolutely not only provides solid theoretical basis for the career counseling of college students,but also reminds educators that more emphasis should be placed on the effect of social support,psychological capital and social comparison orientation tostudents' career development;and that more efforts should be exerted on the mission of offering college students comprehensive and systematical career counselling system through practical guideline ultimately.
