Financial Writing is not only a basic course for vocational students ofeconomics, but also a very practical course. However, the teaching effect of thiscourse is not always satisifed. One of the reasons is that the vocational studentsare fed up with the lecture-style teaching mode and the dogmatic teachingapproaches as usual. Therefore, it is of signiifcance to reform the existingteaching philosophy and search for appropriate teaching approaches and modeswhich are suitable for vocational education and training goals. This researchwill introduce the"project teaching" philosophy into the Economics PracticalWriting course, which may break the current irgid teaching mode and changestudents,passive attitude towards study The research aims to promote thedevelopment of some core professional skills, such as self-learning ability,innovation ability and communication and coordination ability. Moreover, itmay be beneficial to the teaching practice in the vocational basic courses.Through thorough investigation and analysis, we have conducted acomprehensive design on implementing integrated "project teaching" for thecourse of financial writing. Based on the study, we innovatively guided studentsto achieve certain result through practicing an important project, which ifnallyachieved some goals.Content of this paper is consisting of four parts:In chapter one, the basis for implem"enting "project teaching for the coursewas discussed. In this chapter, features and teaching state of the course wereintroduced firstly; atfer that, the concept, historical evolution and theoreticalbasis of teaching project was illustrated; ifnally, the practical and theoreticalsignificance of implementing project teaching was explored.In chapter two, the focus was on stating the basic ideas about implementing"project teaching” for the course and a detailed discussion on the content design,teaching mode and evaluation method of ‘‘project teaching" was conducted.In chapter three, upon an analysis on the necessity and feasibility ofimple”menting "project teaching for the course,a detailed introduction on the practicing process of “project teaching" was undertaken; moreover, the effect of“project teaching" was proved according to the statistics and analysis on the dataof the experimental class in implementing teaching expeirence.In chapter four, the learned expeirences rfom the research and existingproblems were summarized; after that, improving measures were come up with;finally, factors that have inlfuenced the effectiveness of “project teachi"ng wereuncovered.
