So in the process of creation, I combine elements of poetry and the natural landscape. On specific techniques, I learn from Wenzhengming’s handsome and graceful painting style. It’s not easy to paint landscapes well. First, it is necessary to understand the landscapes. It is difficult for one without careful study of the mountains and rivers to show the greatness of mountains and water. To understand the landscapes, first go to start sketching. Li Keran once said "Sketching is the most important part of creation. A good sketch can be a successful landscape painting.". However, a complete sketch may lose the appeal of Chinese pattern painting style. At this time, we are supposed to take advantage of traditional patterns in the process of creation, and creatively translate the beauty of nature with the poetic conception into the beauty of art.
