The Text And Context Of The Bai Lannguage Elegiac In Er Yuan

Abstract:As a poetic language arts, the Bai language elegiac has attracted the attention of scholars, but the definition of the Bai language elegiac is still uncertain. There is a lack of in-depth study on the Bai language elegiac’s structure, content and context. Moreover, the Bai language elegiac is tradition of Bai society, ritual is a important part of its features. Nowadays, study on the Bai language elegiac’s ritual is still a breach.Based on the senior scholars’view and inertia folk appellation, this dissertation determines the broad and narrow definition of the Bai language elegiac. In the meanwhile, it analyzes the bai language elegiac’s text and context by the way of text reading and the information from field work. In text, this dissertation mainly researches the bai language elegiac’s stylization and attributes of literature from two aspects that structure and content; In context, the dissertation dwells the concerned context elements of the bai language elegiac.The article consists of four sections:First chapter is preface, it introduces the basis of selected topic, research value and methods sketches survey of the bai language elegiac in research site; it ensures the subject with discriminating the conception of the Bai language elegiac; it summarizes senior scholars’studies and social communities’achievements on the Bai language elegiac. The second chapter focuses on text analysis to research the Bai language elegiac’s structure, content, classification; then, summarizes the performance of its stylized feature from the aspects that authorial intrusion, stylized imagery and The characteristics of the text. The third chapter, analyzes the context of situation and context of culture from the relationship between the Bai language elegiac and Bai people’s social culture. The forth chapter is the peroration. It summarizes the full text and points out the inadequacies for further study.
