Research Of Mongolian And Han College Students’ Relationship Between Prospective Personality And Future Time Perspective

Different time utilization of people affect the level of performancebetween individuals, to some extent it determines the results of individual intheir social competitions. The past time has gone, the current time is fleeting,so most people expect their future. To form the time perspective about theirfuture, and make a clear, complete planning is particularly critical. Differentpersonality traits result different behavior. Educators need to understand thedifferences between individuals. In this study, questionnaires and interviewsare used to analyze the correlation of proactive personality and future timeperspective that exists between Mongolian and Han college students so thatwe can explore the ethnic characteristics of each mode and reasons. The mainconclusions are as follows:1.The individual who is outstanding in proactive personality has astronger future time perspective. This kind of people has initiative thinkingand initiative behavior, besides, they usually behave actively in planningfuture.2.Proactive personality has a positive correlation with future timeperspective. The interaction process impact each factor to enhance the role ofpromoting. The mechanism of initial interaction can not be accurately descriptin this study, which is due to the inborn factors and postnatal environmentfactors of individual.Congenital factors includs the differences of individual’sinnate ability and the initial impact of the individual’s family of origin, whichaffects the initial patterns of behavior. Postnatal environment includesindividual’s interpersonal peer influence and school cultural environmentwhich have a contribution to the change of behavior patterns. In the development of proactive personality and future time perspective, the effectof postnatal environment is quite important.3.In the future time perspective measurements Mongolian and Hancollege students show different performance which can be summarized intotwo typical tendencies: Mongolian college students emphasize the importanceof overall goal of the mind dreams. They pay less attention to detail of theplan.Han college students grow up in the complicate and diverseenvironment which made them show more careful in terms of schedulingdetails.4. Mongolian and Han college students have differences in the associatedmode between proactive personality and future time perspective. Han collegestudents have outstanding performances in long term goal orientations andclear future imagery. Mongolian college students have outstandingperformances in future time performance and a positive thinking of futureimagery.This difference is mainly due to the association with the perfectopportunity awareness, which are included in emotions and understandings ofproactive personality.
