| Musical is an independent musical theater form that combines many different art form and a varieties of genres. Within only one hundred years, it develops rapidly in the West and widely disseminated to the rest of the world, generated as a remarkable artistic phenomenon among music industry of the twentieth century.Musical origins from comic opera, operetta and etc., which were derived from traditional opera and widely absorbed jazz, country music, rock music, rap art, modern dance and etc., and gradually developed into an inclusive comprehensive stage art form, it based on drama, music-driven and dancing is the most important ways of expression.For a musical, the display and interpretation of the musical aria, is an important means to uncover the entire musical soul. For audiences who love musicals, the display and interpretation of the musical aria, is the key to open the heart of the audiences, and it is even a symbol to determine a musical is successful or not.The first chapter outlined the concept of musical singing and the role of musical singing and so on. The second chapter, mainly is analyzing and researching the singing style of musical, I will analysis and research how to unite emotion and technique in the musical singing and musical concert music selections in order to find some regular pattern in musical singing. In the third chapter, the author analyzed how musical singing method has been applied in specific musical show by using an example of his graduation show "tick, tick...BOOM!".I hope that through this research and my own practice in the musical singing can intrigue more people in the musical industry and academics to pay close attention on China’s musical industry and keep an eye on Chinese musical personnel training and education, I sincerely wish that I can dedicate my own insights and contribute to China’s musical industry, moreover we can create original musical with Chinese characteristics in the very near future!... |
