Shandong Qinshu And Musical Features Of Different Schools

Shandong Qinshu is one of the most typical telling-story Varieties in Shandong Province. The history of its development lasts for three stages-amateurish show, living show and professional show. At the forum about Shandong Qinshu’s schools in1962, Shandong Qinshu was Formally identified three schools-Southern Qingshu, Northern Qingshu and Eastern Qinshu. In my opinion, it is the first step for us to have a clearly understanding on its definition, representation and significance when we start the study of musical voice characteristics of Shandong Qinshu. It can provide some deeply references by traditional music analysis, such as run-cavity and unit, beat and melody, structure and system etc.The object of this study is the voices in the traditional compositions of Shandong Qinshu. There are three parts in this article. The first part is to analysis the origin and development of Shandong Qinshu. The second part is to describe the artistic characteristics from Regional style, culture Structure and narrative Methods to further explore the characteristics of Shandong Qinshu music. The third part is to describe the schools and music feature of the voice in Shandong Qinshu. It is the first time to point out the difference of regional voice schools and personal voice schools in this part, then, to state the characteristic and the relationship of above two.
