Since our country advanced the conception of music education based on Chinse culture, agrestic music has become a hotspot of music education. Agrestic music is an important part of regional music, where the nation puts its culture, history, reactions to the environment, and other kinds of experience together into its own language and musical language, so this musical language can maintain the extention of the whole nation from generation to generation. The southwestern area of Shandong Province locates in the central district of Confucianism, which permeates into the agrestic music.According to the regional music of ethnomusicology, this essay selects Jining, Heze, and Zaozhuang in Shandong Province, regarding these three parts as a entirety. This selection is based on the integrity of these three cities'languages, culture and social customs. The representative agrestic musical forms of this cultural area, such as Guchui music, Xiaodiao in southwesern Shandong Province, and Shandong Qinshu, have been absorbed into the resource of education of agrestic music in Southwestern schools.
