Abstract:Reputed as magnificent gems in Miao music by many experts and scholars, Hmong Songs have a unique artistic charm. Taking Miaoling Mountain, A Good Place as the discussion object, this paper carries out micro exploration of personal opinions on Hmong Songs. The whole paper is divided into three parts. The first part outlines the Miao nationality and Hmong Songs as well as Miaoling Mountain, A Good Place, a new Miao song. In the second part, taking Miaoling Mountain, A Good Place as an example, it conducts musical aesthetic analysis on beauty of sorrow, passion, rhyme, artistic conception and simplicity of Hmong Songs, as well as singing features analysis on such aspects as contrast combining, rhythm tempo combining, wavering of gradual slide cavity with edging up or down, closed cavity with sound jilting and coloratura simulation of birdsong of Gaoqiang and Pingqiang during the singing. By starting with a Hmong Song, the paper analyzes the artistic charm of Hmong Songs. In the third part, heritance and innovation of traditional and new Hmong Songs are analyzed briefly, so as to call for the emergence of more high-quality musical creations of Hmong Songs. |
