I wrote the article profiles a systematic research on the composition of the new work. The name is "Dingjun Mountain", which is based on the Peking Opera and "Guanglingsan" from the Chinese instrument-Guqin. Now the new work is played in a Pipa concerto. Some special rhythms from Peking Opera was used in my piece. The main harmonies are founded from traditional tonality chords structures, including seventh chords, ninth chords, etc. In addition to the tone chords, pentatonic expand tonal, multiple adjustable major third chords recurred lead to tonal color wavering. Finally, the composition reveals the new image with combination of contemporary and classical creative approaches.
