Phonetic teaching has a very significant possession in the teaching Chinese as aforeign language, and it is also a difficulty in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Asthe European-American Chinese learners learning Chinese language, due to the greatdifference between the two language system, it will generate a large number of biasederrors, and these errors will engender a huge obstruction for international students tomaster the phonetic of Chinese. This thesis is based on Contrastive Analysis, BiasedError Analysis and Interlanguage Theory, the author made a questionnaire survey to theinternational students who are at primary stage according to the frequently occurringbiased errors when they learn Chinese phonetics. Then the author made a meticulousanalysis and research according to the international students’ responding, and describedthe biased errors when the international students learning Chinese phonetics. Furthermore,the author analyzed the reason why they cause these biased errors, and summarized somerelevant solutions and teaching skills on the basis of a large number of DocumentLiteratures the author had read. According to the questionnaires the author found that themainly biased errors of initials to the primary stage international students are supradentalz、c、s, blade-palatal zh、ch、sh、r, palatal j、q、x and unaspirated and aspirated consonantsb-p、d-t、g-k、zh-ch、z-c、j-q. The mainly biased errors of finals are i、ü, nasal final anda few homologous compound finals. There are also several biased errors need toconscientiously correct about tones. In allusion to these biased errors, the author summedup predecessors methods, and also proposed some own solutions, for example, put tonesinto staff when teach them; use some music for teaching and so on. The author hopes theinformation and date as well as the relevant solutions and teaching skills in this essay canprovide some references for Chinese phonetics teaching.
