In order to investigate the delayed retaining result of the survival and mnemonicadvantage, experiment one took30Chinese double-word vocabularies asexperimental material and120sophomores as subject. In this experiment, the twofactors between subjects adopted random allocation design, that is investigate theaccurate rate of instant memories after two minutes to see whether this appears theeffect of survival and mnemonic advantage as well as the maintaining result afterdelayed half an hour. The results indicate that both after tow minutes memory test andafter delayed half an hour memory test have the effect of survival and mnemonicadvantage. Experiment two investigates the survival and mnemonic advantage againwithin-subject design and the result of delayed test after half an hour memory. Theresults suggest that both two minutes memory test and after half an hour memory testhave the effect of survival and mnemonic advantage as experiment one. Itfurther proves the delayed maintaining effect of survival and mnemonic advantage. Inorder to investigate if learning the new foreign language vocabulary will also raise theeffect of survival and mnemonic advantage, experiment three focus new Latin wordsand Chinese vocabulary as experimental material to make a dual associative learning.120non-English major sophomores were chosen as subjects to do an experimentwhich adopted random allocation design of the two factors between subjects.The experimental results suggest that in after tow minutes dual associative memorytest, the accuracy of dual associative learning between new foreign words andChinese vocabulary appears the effect of survival and mnemonic advantage; howeverin after half an hour dual associative memory test, the results make a big difference.Experiment hour again investigated if learning the new foreign language vocabularywill also raise the effect of survival and mnemonic advantage. The results suggest thathat in after tow minutes dual associative memory test, the accuracy of dual associativelearning between new foreign words and Chinese vocabulary appears the effect ofsurvival and mnemonic advantage; however in after half an hour dual associativememory test, the maintained effect of survival and mnemonic advantage is notobvious.
