The Research Of The Influence Of Scene Import Way And Effect Of Material Type Of Surviveal Processing Advantage Effect Of Memory

In order to study the influence of different kinds of scene import way andmemory materials to surviveal processing advantage effect of memory, we carried outresearch on the advantage effect in the college students. In the research, we usedmaterials, which included Chinese two-character words, sentences and essays, andscene import ways such as phrase and essays. And we used method of free recall. Thisresearch included the following four experiments:For the first experiment, the experimental material is31Chinese two-characterwords. The researcher investigated the influence of different scenes to the memoryeffect of experiment material.. The results showed that, after2minutes of distractiontask, the free recall effect of the survival group was obviously better than the vacationgruop.In the second experiment, we added one group of experiment material based onthe first experiment. The new material is sentences consisted of31two-characterwords used in the first experiment. Sentences had similar length. We investigated thememory effect of students to the words or sentences in two scene. The results showedthat, after2minutes of distraction task, the free recall effect of the survival group wasobviously better than the vacation group. Furthermore, in the same scene, the memoryeffect of students to the sentences was better than to the two-character words.In the third experiment, we used sentences which had good memory effect in thesecond experiment. We gave the students one essay. Then students would imaginehimself as the protagonist. We investigated the memory effect of the students after thedistraction task. The results showed that the memory effect of reading survival storieswas much better than reading vacation stories.In the last experiment, we used one neutral Chinese essay to investigate thememory effect of the essay to students in two different scene. The results showed that, after2minutes of distraction task, the free recall effect of the survival group wasobviously better than the vacation group.
