During adolescence, with the expansion of individual social interaction, friends becomeas important to them as their parents. So, adolescent peer relationship is one of the mostimportant interpersonal relationships of middle school students. Peer acceptance is the youthgroup members’ attitudes toward individuals, and friendship is the emotional connectionbetween individuals, which are the important aspects of peer relationship. Previousresearchers on peer relationship mostly concentrated on the study of peer acceptance, the twolevels of peer interaction has not been comprehensively discussed. This study aims to use thetwo aspects of middle school students peer interaction as the breakthrough point, toinvestigate and study the influences of peer acceptance and friendship quality on Grade8andGrade9students’ personalities, and to provide practical guiding significance to the cultivationof young healthy mentality and personality development.Based on both domestic and foreign existing research results on peer relationships, usingregression method, the choice of elected after pairing with friends and effectively subjectswere364students, to explore the influence of peer acceptance, friendship quality ofpersonality.The results show that:1Peer acceptance correlates with prosocial, intelligence characteristics, conscientiouscontrol, extraversion and emotional stability significant positively, peer acceptance canpredict the development of personality.2Friendship quality and various dimensions of personality are highly significantcorrelation, friendship quality and the various dimensions of personality are closely related.3Friendship quality in the peer acceptance on the part of the intermediary effect existsprosocial, intelligence characteristics, conscientious control.4Friendship quality in the peer acceptance intermediary effect of extraversion andemotional stability to the personality is not significant.
