Jazz piano soundsemotional and expresses more deep feelings based on seventh chord harmony system.Improvisation is one of the most important features of jazz piano, and the ability of improvisation isnot only an important measure of a keyboardist playing level, but also the essential of jazz piano.Contemporary music education in China belongs to western music education system, which is westernmusic-centered no only on the value of music education but also on the related teaching contents.Domestic contemporary music education lacks of objective understanding on arts value of jazz pianoand has been holding conservative and negative attitudes on it, which directly leads to the direction ofsongs choice and curriculum settings in piano education in China.This music education system will also directly affect the educational concept of Chinese music talentscultivation.With the spread of western modern civilization and major changes of Chinese society, jazz piano hasbecome a kind of irresistible culture trend, which has a great impact and influence on the development andtransformation of music education in China.
