Through the method of questionnaire survey and case analysis, I research and analysis the Sports dance winning entries of the Chinese television dance competition. The results show that, in recent years, the development of the Sports Dance is very rapid in China. The application of Chinese elements in sports dance works has made remarkable achievements with the new form, which has the Chinese national characteristics of the Sports Dance art innovation. The phenomenon of that the Chinese elements is used in Sports Dance works by dancers and choreographer has become more widespread. Meanwhile, because of many development policy and system of using Chinese elements is not perfect enough, there appears some problems on Chinese elements overused, mechanization to form and content representation during that time, which restrains the healthy development of the Chinese Sports Dance. To this end, in view of the study of these problems, this article use the method of experts interview, through summarizing the expert’s opinions and Suggestions, we learn that if we want to put the Chinese elements into Sports Dance works, the most basic is to keep Sports Dance’s own characteristics unchanged. And then put Chinese elements has the Chinese cultural characteristics into applying to sports dance works reasonably. Only in this way, Sports Dance can be innovated and given a new cultural literacy truly. So, the development of Sports Dance will have its own personality traits and development form in China.In this paper, the innovative research on Chinese elements in the application of Sports Dance works has the most direct value, it is that the study can enrich the Sports Dance art’s content and form. It can have a positive impact on spreading, carrying forward the Chinese traditional culture, and the development of the World Culture "diversity". Additionally, this research can help the development of Sports Dance to be promoted in China, and provide a theoretical reference for building the Chinese-style Sports Dance continuously.
