Interpersonal relation is one of the social relations that every social man should have anddeal with well. In this society which developed at top speed,not only the operators but alsothe students should develop a good interpersonal relation which will contribute to the future.The main methods to measure interpersonal relation are sociometry Test and referencemeasurement method in which sociometry Test is the common way. These two methods arevery classical but both have shortcoming which interested psychology scholars. So we needdevelop more methods to measure interpersonal relations.This paper is to test projective mapping,a new method in measuring interpersonalrelations and discuss the relations between personality tendency and interpersonal relations.I use the projective mapping,the grades of relations test paper and the EPQ-RSC in theformal experiment and process the dates with using SPSS18.0(PASW Statistics18.0),theresults tell us these:(1) Projective mapping has high validity and reliability in measuring senior middleschool students’interpersonal relations.(2) There is no significant difference in interpersonal relations between genders.(3) Introverts,extroverts and the middle ones have no significant difference ininterpersonal relations.
