Longshan poetry school was founded as a regional poetry genre in the late Qing Dynasty. It was made up by several poets, who were living at the foot of Longshan. They were Susheng Lu, YU Cha, Kui Cha, Shiguan Cha, Youxin Cha, Renhe Cha respectively. Among them, three poets had the same surname Cha as the members in Haining Cha’s tribe. As a result, it is suggested to review the establishment and development of the poetry school from the perspective of family literature in the interpretation of Longshan poetry school. This thesis consists of five parts in order to in-depth grasp of Longshan poetry school. The first is the introduction part. There were many literary genres in Qing Dynasty. Simply by Shinan Liu’s book "History of Qing Poetry Genre", it was then a collection of twenty poetry genres from the early Qing Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty. The mentioned poetry genres still have proof evidences, and they are accepted in academia as Qing poetry genre. However, little was known or recorded about Longshan poetry school. The introduction part traces back to its founding, and further defines the related issues, such as the background of the members as "poor scholar", as well as the background of their major events. The second part goes on to detailed member descriptions on the basis of the introduction part. There was little information on the background of these six poets. Before the text analysis of Longshan poetry, the author applies the principle of "Reflection of Life" so as to describe the six poets in detail by existing data, which reproduces the character and misfortune of the four poets. This promotes the readers’interpretation of Longshan poetry on a three-dimensional rendering. The third part combines the background of Longshan poetry school to analyze the impact of intellectuals, style of study and poem style on them. The growth and development of Longshan poetry school was closely linked with its context, namely, from "focusing on moral" to "traveling in art" in intellectuals, from "treasuring one’s innate virtues" to "seeking knowledge" in style of study, from "respecting Tang and halling Song" to "neither Tang nor Song" in poem style. Affected by the pursuit of individual character, Longshan poetry school gradually worked out a creation of poems in their own way.The fourth part presents the poetry themes of Longshan poetry school. Because of their own limitations in life, there are also some limitations in presenting poetry, such as the reduction of the care for reality, and the increase on their own concerns. The poetic themes encompass the beauty of landscape, the suffering in traveling and the sought of friendship. Their selection on themes typically represents the misfortune of poor scholars, which enjoys a profound meaning. The last part analyzes the artistic features of Longshan’s poetic works. The presentation of artistic poem is a true representation of their ideas on poetry. They advocate the real experience, true disposition, extended knowledge, and reading; instead, they oppose simulation. Therefore, they strive to express their true thoughts in creation. That is to say, they choose their own life experiences in material selection; they tend to select noble things to represent their own character in image selection; they apply popular and natural language in expression. Owing to their conscious poetry tendency and their strong authenticity, Longshan poetry school finally creates a new style for themselves.
