| Children’s illustration books are specially designed for children, whichcome from children’s own lives and deliver experiences of emotionexpression, life education, environment care and parent-childrelationship, and are an art form that expresses complicated principlesin a simple way. Children of age1to3who experience crucial intelligencedevelopment need good visual stimulation and leaded reading to favor theirbrain development. A good children’s illustration book may help childrento feel a story in a diversified way and deeply and promote theirunderstanding and art appreciation. From the respective on bookbindingand aimed at1to3year-old children, this essay makes exploring researchof present situation and development of children’s illustration books byconsidering mental need and features of children of these ages, andfurther, analyzes the bookbinding patterns of these books on shelves. Bymy analysis of components of children’s illustration book and discussionabout the fitting bookbinding designs, I try to provide more choices fordifferently characterized children and thoughts on the research of thebookbinding of Chinese children’s illustration books. |
