This study was to study the relationship between perceived discrimination andmental resilience and subjective-well being among left-behind children,and todemonstrate the role of perceived discrimination on mental health(this paper was tomeasure subjective well-being indicators)is direct or indirect and the intermediaryrole of mental resilience on the relationship between perceived discrimination andsubjective-well being.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Perceived discrimination is general among left-behind children,and thelevel of perceived discrimination is higher,also they have a low mental resilienceoverall and above average life satisfaction,more negative experience,less positiveexperience;(2)Mental resilience and subjective-well being of left-behind children havedifferent degrees of difference under different demographic variables;(3)Left-behind children of high and low level of perceived discriminationexists significant differences in mental resilience and subjective-well being;(4)There are both indirect effect and direct impact of perceived discriminationon SWB,and mental resilience is a partial mediator between the two,which can slowthe negative effects of perceived discrimination on mental health (this paper was tomeasure subjective well-being indicators) for mental health protection. |
