With the rapid development of economy and society and acceleration in the urbanization since the country carry out the policy of reform and opening up, there is a lot of rural residual labor forces entering cities for jobs, and such trend left these people's children at hometown under the care of others rather than both of parents, which lead to a large number of "Left-home children". Nowadays, the researches into these special group are more limited to the negative aspects such as negative emotion and psychological disorder etc, there is a lack of the research into the relationship between mental health and resilience and subjective wellbeing of middle school students left-home in childhood. That's why the middle school students left-home in childhood are involved in this research; the protective factors that have an effect on the subjective wellbeing of this group will be identified, just in order to help Left-home children take advantage of these protective factors effectively to cope with the negative effect caused by parent-absence. Some practical suggestions improving the left-home children's education of mental health will be put forward, thus bettering the growth environment of left-home children.About 1050 students coming from junior and senior middle school in Qufu city participate in this research, and 271 students left-home in children are selected. The questionnaire is widely used to collect original information, the scales include "the Resilience Scale le for Chinese Adolescents", "SCL-90","Subjective Wellbeing Questionnaire", then we give a careful analysis of the survey information by using T-text, One-way ANOVA analysis, Correlation analysis,Multiple Regression analysis and Structural Equation Modeling.The conclusions include as follow:(1) Mental health and subjective wellbeing level of students left-home in childhood are significantly lower than those of common students, resilience between two kinds of students have no significant difference(2) Among students left-home in childhood, the level of mental health of students in senior middle school is significantly lower than those of students in junior middle school. There are significant differences in students with different mental health level,simply speaking, the higher students'mental health level, the more students experienced sense of satisfaction towards life and positive emotion,and the less passive emotion,the higher subjective wellbeing.(3) Among students left-home in childhood, there are no significant differences in students with different resilience level, namely, the higher students'resilience level, the more students experienced sense of satisfaction towards life and positive emotion,and the less passive emotion,the higher subjective wellbeing.(4) There are significant correlation among mental health, resilience and subjective well-being of left-home students in childhood. (5) Emotion controlling, target concentration, interpersonal assistance, depression, positive cognition, hostility, and family support have significant predictive function to subjective wellbeing of students left-home in childhood.(6) Resilience plays a mediating role in the relationship between mental health and subjective wellbeing of students left-home in childhood.
