Event-based prospective memory refers to when a particular event occurs at the same time, theimplementation of a pre-planned tasks, is an important form of memory. The individual can successfullyexecute my plan or whether successful implementation in the learning process and complete their learningtasks, these activities are affected by the event-based prospective memory. Through the study ofevent-based prospective memory, memory process we can understand and adjust the individual, so as tolay the theoretical foundation for the development of individual prospective memory. The research objects are freshman, sophomore students, a total of180, for different types ofword pairs as experimental material, studied the event-based prospective memory by using the method ofexperiment. The research includes two parts, research one studies the influence of task importance andtime management disposition of event-based prospective memory, using2(task importance: importantprospective memory task, non important prospective memory task) x2(time management disposition: high, low) the between subjects design; research two investigated the task load and time management dispositioneffect on event-based prospective memory, using2(ongoing task load: high, low) x2(prospective memorytask load: high, low) x2(time management disposition: high, low) between subjects design.Through the analysis of the results of the above study, draws the following conclusion:(1)the correct rate of college students an important prospective memory tasks thannon-important prospective memory tasks, an important and non-important prospective memory taskresponse time difference is not significant;(2)the correct rate of college students prospective memory task low load ongoing task condition was higher than that in high load the correct rate of prospective memory task conditions wereunder low load, ongoing task condition of prospective memory task response time is significantly lowerthan the high load of ongoing task of a prospective memory task response time;(3)the correct rate of college students low load of prospective memory task was significantlyhigher than that of the high rate of correct loading of prospective memory tasks, low load of prospectivememory task response time is significantly lower than the high load of prospective memory task responsetime;(4)in different task importance, task load conditions, the correct rate of high time managementdisposition college students of prospective memory tasks than the low time management disposition ofprospective memory tasks, effect of time management disposition on prospective memory task responsetime is not significant.
