A good interpersonal relationship plays an important role in ensuring the operation oforganization, completing the core task effectively and dealing with external environment. According to pastresearch, researchers have been paid more attention to the affect of social support which is a positive sideof social relationship, but the researches of social undermining which is a negative side of socialrelationship were very few. Researching social undermining is very significant in controlling and reducingsocial undermining behaviors, leading employees to do more prosocial behavior, and promoting employees,mental health and organizational performance.This research investigated our country enterprise staff through the questionnaire way, usingstatistical techniques of exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis in order to get theconclusions:First, revised employees’envy scale had only one dimension and three items, its reliability andvalidity met the requirements of psychometrics.Second, revised employees’social undermining had two dimensions and seventeen items, the twodimensions were social undermining behaviors from the superior and social undermining behaviors from acolleague. its reliability and validity met the requirements of psychometrics.Third, the differences that different gender, age, education in the difference dimension of thesocial undermining behaviors and total scores were significant(p<0.001); the differences that differentmarital status, work staff in the social undermining behaviors’total scores and the colleague socialundermining behaviors’scores were significant(p<0.001),and it were not significant in superior socialundermining behaviors’scores (P>0.05); the differences that the employees of different working years ofthe enterprise in the superior social undermining behaviors’scores of individual dimension weresignificant(p<0.001), and it were not significant in the social undermining behaviors’total scores and thecolleague social undermining behaviors’scores (P>0.05); the differences that different nature of units in thedifference dimension of the social undermining behaviors and total scores were not significant(P>0.05).Forth, Employees’envy had significant positive prediction function to moral disengagement and the eight dimensions; Employees’envy had significant positive influence to social undermining and the twodimensions. Employees’moral disengagement played the part intermediary role between envy and socialundermining.
