The moral identity is one of the important factors that affecting individuals’ pro-social behavior.Because the psychological quality of junior students is immature and their moral judgment criteria is vulnerable,So there is a separation between moral identity and pro-social behavior in real world.In the research,moral disengagement is used to explore its inner structure and to investigate the influence between moral identity and pro-social behavior.Moral disengagement is a cognitive tendency that the individuals re-explain their behavior with some specific ways to make it rationalization,so that they can avoid self-sanctions.Previous researches on moral disengagement mostly focus on abroad and the objects mainly are college students and enterprise staff.the domestic researches on moral disengagement are still in infancy,with lacks of measuring tools for junior students.So,there is certainly important value to compile Moral Disengagement Scale for Chinese junior students.In the research,convenient sampling is used to select the objects,A random sample of949 middle school students is selected in Hefei City,Wuhu City,Suzhou City and Anqing City,The measuring tools are Moral Identity Scale,Moral Disengagement Scale of Junior Students,and Pro-social Behavior Questionnaire of Adolescent,The research aim is to investigate the characteristics and relations among moral identity,moral disengagement and pro-social behavior of junior students.The research results showing that:1 The reliability and validity of moral disengagement scale of junior students reach the requirements of Statistical.The scale includes cognitive restructuring,results distortion and agreement reduction.2 The junior student’ moral identity is medium.And the implicit scores higher.There are significant differences in gender,grade,and being class-cadre or not of junior student’moral identity.3 The junior student’ moral disengagement is low.And the results distortion scores highest.The moral disengagement is significantly different in gender,hometown,only and non-only child,grade and being class-cadre or not.4 The junior student’ pro-social behavior is medium.And the pro-social behavior different significantly in gender and being class-cadre or not.5 The junior student’ moral identity and pro-social behavior relates significantly positive.There is a positive prediction of junior student’ moral identity to the pro-social behavior.6 There is a significant negative moderation effect of moral disengagement to the relation between junior student’s moral identity and pro-social behavior,moral disengagement weaken the influence between moral identity and pro-social behavior.
