The fast pace of society and high pressure cause the increase in mental illness, and mental health problems are increasingly apparent. The theory of psychoanalysis which focuses on people’s subjective spirit world has gradually become one of academic research hot topics. As a Marxian of Freudism in20th century, Fromm tried to integrate Marx and Freud’s viewpoint to solve the problems he concerned. And he tried hard to deepen and expand the Marxist theories and developed a unique humanistic psychoanalysis theory. However, the domestic academic haven’t pay enough attention on Fromm’s psychoanalysis, but this thesis systematically investigates the theory’s forming background, concept discrimination, research object, basic content based on Formm’s treatises and domestic and foreign research.I hope this article can solve these key problems:First of all, this thesis clarifies the concept of psychoanalysis and defines connotation which most scholars ignore so to clear away the obstacles to understanding. This explanation can provide some reference for academic research. Then the article respectively expounds research object and basic content, especially focus on the long-neglected religious thought. And with that we are able to highlight the theory’s uniqueness and importance and enrich the existing researches. We start from the field of vision, method of study and standpoint to discuss the psychoanalysis’s unique theoretical characteristics.Through investigating absorption and transformation of theory to others, rationalities and limitations of Fromm’s theory,we hope this investigation could provide the basis and reference for the deepening of our reform and the construction of people-oriented and harmonious society.
