Development Of The Competence On Doing Counseling Scale For The Students Major In Psychology

In recent years, the speed of the development of counseling is very fast.Currently domestic sources counselors can be divided into two teams: Afterpsychology graduate and professional training system for training counselors throughsocial institutions. Professional teaching in school as an important method for raisingthe number of workers, plays a very important role in the psychological consultantteam building. Professional education of school will determine the future of theworking group. Understanding student counseling competency, to provide professionaleducation in schools a lot of reference will help further improve the professionaleducation in schools. This study selected school psychology majors as the researchobject, through detailed interviews indepth, a detailed understanding of psychologystudents engaged in successful and failed cases counseling work, repeatedly finishinginterviews, exploring psychology students engaged in counseling work whencompetency must have to prepare students to engage competent professionalpsychological counseling psychological counseling work sheet strength and scalemeasurement and psychology majors, the conclusions:1、Qualitative interviews showed that students engaged in counseling psychologycompetency features are: empathy, patience, self-awareness, respect, observation, datacollection, and the passion.2、 By examining the results showed Cronbach coefficient based on "competentforce students to engage in counseling psychology table work" qualitative interviewwell prepared reliability; through the content validity of this investigation, confirmedthat the number of table also has good validity. 3、 The results of exploratory factor analysis and theoretical conception scaledevelopment of the basic agreement, indicating that theory of the frount researchbuilding effective and reliable.4、 The eight competencies identified by qualitative interviews can be used as areliable theoretical basis for students to join in research psychology counselingcompetency.
