In the daily life of people, for other people’s facial expressions recognition andinterpretation of the relationship between people can correct understanding emotions ofothers, a medium language in addition to the quite important in communication andexchanges. Based on the view of Darwin’s physiological, the researchers think that theexpression of emotion is the need to communicate in evolution, contribute to humansurvival and reproduction. As a support, a lot of research has found that the basicemotions including some complex emotions are consistent across culture significantly.Is generally believed that if the facial expression can send the appropriate information,can be properly identified, people are not trained conditions can still carry on fast andaccurate response to the basic emotions. Even further, people should identify commonability to complete facial expressions in disturbed conditions. Based on this, someresearchers believe that the emotion recognition may be an automated process.The present study used ERP (event-related potentials, referred to as ERP)technology, to explore the brain mechanism of facial expression recognition time limit,no time limit and cognitive load conditions. Study on. Study on the probability ofexperimental paradigm, random is divided into positive and negative facial expressionimages of two groups (happiness, surprise, fear and sadness), subjects were asked towatch the pictures and complete the facial expression recognition task. In the time limitand no time limits the task condition, participants were asked as fast as possible and asaccurately as possible to complete the task of facial expression recognition. ERPcomponent analysis subjects completed the task response time, accuracy and facialexpression picture. Results show that the correct rate, time limit condition subjectsreaction is less than no time constraints, the positive emotional facial expressions thannegative emotional reaction. At the same time facial expression images in the presenceof N170, N170and the late components of different pictures, to explore whether N170modulation by facial expression content of advanced components, whether there aredifferences in expression effects and different task conditions ERP components.Two groups of task interference conditions were divided into different levels ofdifficulty, the classical Stroop paradigm, low difficulty level set of tasks using the fontcolor consistent meaning and the target word as the cognitive load condition for thedecentralized cognitive resources; high level group task using word meaning and font color incongruent target words as cognitive load conditions, requirements subjectscompleted recognition in facial expression images using the font color for the targetword recall response. Analysis, the correct rate and facial expressions of ERPcomponent subjects to complete the task of reaction. The results show that negativeemotion recognition, recognition reaction time was higher than that of positive emotion;recognition and processing of positive emotion and negative emotion, facial expressionis different for the degree of utilization of cognitive resources.
