Study On Anti Espionage Activities In Shanghai During The Anti Japanese Military

The Shanghai District of the Investigation and Statistics Bureau was establishedby the Government Military Commission in Shanghai that was responsible for behindenemy lines to engage in intelligence activities. In1939, the Investigation andStatistics Bureau developed continually and had built much better foundations, forCooperate with the KMT protracted war of resistance against Japan at that time,politics is more important than military, intelligence is more important than strategypolicies, the role of the military administration is becoming more and moreimportant. When Mayor Chen Gongshu was in Shanghai in two years, hundreds ofthe traitors were sanctioned. They hit effectively the puppet army, had a significantcontribution to the Anti-Japanese War.
