The existing literatures concerning War of Resistance Against Japan are too many to be enumerated, and a lot of them make an effort to study the scholars living in this period of time. However, most literatures of this kind focus on these scholars'spiritual world in which they had tried to serve the purpose of winning the war with their intellectual works. Most of them advocate a mainstream view of war, while few of them pay attention to the daily life of these scholars. As a result, the other part of these scholars, which is being ordinary human beings who have a lot of trivia and complex emotions, is neglected. In recent years, some bibliographies have begun to discuss this neglected part, but generally speaking, the theme of "human" still plays a very limited role in the historical study of the period of War of Resistance Against Japan. The existing literatures only present us with a group of energetic people full of patriotic passions who are too perfect to make us feel unrealistic. In contrast, if we could turn to the "human" side of these people, exploring their trivial concerns and normal emotions, we will be able to present a group of wartime scholars of the vast rear area who are true to life. Even though they may not appear as noble as before, the human-nature elements of them make us feel that they are real and close to us. This is also the ultimate purpose this paper. With this purpose, this paper will demonstrate the vivid daily life of the wartime scholars living in the areas of Chongqing, Yunnan, Sichuan, and Guilin etc. It will show us that their life is also associated with daily necessities, such as food, clothing, housing and transportation, and their life is also full of ups and downs. With this vivid picture in view, it will then bring us back to the eight-year wartime life experienced by these scholars in which their routine life, emotion and spirit of nationalism intermingled with each other, In this way, it will enable us to experience their minutiae of life, to feel their complex emotions during the special period of time, and to undergo their efforts to seek happiness in hard times. The human nature of them makes them more vivid and animate, which enables us to remember them, as the actors of the history, in our heart. In return, we also remember the history.
