Nowadays women’s rights was paid more and more attention and recognized byall social walks of life with the continuous development of era and constantimprovement of the level of education and also women plays a more and moreimportant role in various industries. Facing back to the long river of Chinese history,we have to appreciate those who contribute to the women’s liberation, of which theinternational social universally approval is Marxist theory about the women’sliberation and research. we didn’t find a book specially in the perspective ofwomen’s liberation in Marx’s works, but Marx’s philosophy thought about liberationof women and humankind can be found everywhere in his works. In addition, thispaper further analyzes that women’s problem does not appear overnight, but wasproduced with the continuous development of era, the changing of modes ofproduction and exchange. Starting from the classification of the primitive society,women didn’t get equal treatment. With the constant change of the social system,especially in the period of industrial revolution, capitalism pushed women’s probleminto the spotlight as never before, promoting the arises of Marx’s women’s liberationthoughts. Marx mainly explores the feasibility of women’s liberation from the level of private ownership to women’s oppression and he concluded that women’soppression is rooted in private ownership.
